We design products which are practical, experiential, sustainable and affordable throughout their whole life cycle until disposal.

The key in industrial design is translating technology into human language, bringing the user's perspective to product development, and combining the workgroup's ideas and boundary terms into a functional and visual entity. It is easy for a whole team to commit when a common goal is visualized.

Product Design

The product can be a consumer product, tool or even a means of transport. The designer conceptualizes the principles of functionality, appearance and functionality of the product. Typically, the team includes, in addition to an industrial designer, an expert in customer marketing and a mechanics expert, as well as a representative of the final product manufacturer.

In the picture there is Elisa's light-emitting lighting concept that plays with visual equilibrium. The light source is LEDs that allow for a thin, lined, stylish, interesting and unusual shape.

User research case

User Experience (UX)

Good design starts with understanding the user. User research differs from market research so that it reaches deeper into user needs and can overcome the complexity of embedded responses in market research. However, a user survey does not replace market research. Understanding can be applied through different research methods, interviews, tracking the users' activity or by video taping their activities.

In this example project, Elisa interviewed and observed metro travelers with her colleague. They developed a marketing concept based on the study, which makes it easy for consumers to get acquainted with electronic books in the form of freebies. Through the experiment, the threshold for switching to an electronic book was reduced because purchasing was made easy and tempting.

Service path

Service Design

Creating and developing a new business requires a good understanding of business activities, but also deep knowledge of the users. Designing services combines user awareness and graphical sharing, as Service Design is strongly about brand building and extends to all parts of the enterprise to be credible and functional.

The example in the illustration is the service path for the service in restaurant. The service key clarifies the steps that a customer faces in the service. It includes the customer action in the service and the work steps of the staff, as well as what is happening at any stage in order to make the service as effective as possible and as complete and enjoyable as possible for the customer. Behind the service cell, the necessary functions, service points, personnel roles and other relevant points are built. Also the journey of an object can be displayed; i this case a path of drinking glass.

Other Design Work

Under the industrial design, almost any new concept can be created. By means of design we will find new products, services or methods, whether it is about creating sound, taste, functionality or more effective working methods. The goal is to serve the user better and thereby bring significant benefits to the business.

The picture is an award-winning Park Sharing concept (1st prize in the Makertech 2016 Developers series). The core of the idea is to share low usage parking places of cars with cyclists' bikes. The idea includes both electronic service and a physical product along side with its' maintenance concept.
